Entry-Level DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about automation, system optimization, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to streamline processes, ensure system reliability, and support scalable infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Assist in automating infrastructure deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient code delivery.
  • Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the deployment process.
  • Collaborate in agile workflows to support team goals.
  • Support cloud services on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Optimize cloud resources to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Learn and assist in managing configuration files and environment settings.
  • Support tools like Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Maintain and update documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest DevOps tools, practices, and trends to improve processes.
  • Participate in training and workshops to enhance DevOps skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of Linux, scripting (e.g., Python, Bash), and cloud platforms.
Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, Git, or Kubernetes is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
